Candice Warner was brought to tears during a live radio segment on Wednesday after she received an emotional text message from a friend.
The former Ironwoman, 37, was a guest on Triple M Rush Hour with Gus, Jude & Wendell when Gus Worland spoke about the importance of good mental health.
He said it was important to regularly check in with your friends and challenged Candice to text a friend right now to see how they were doing.
He added the text message should say: 'I love you, I miss you, see you soon xo.'
Candice rose to the challenge and messaged a friend she hadn't seen in a while, and soon received an emotional response back which left her tearful.
'I just received a beautiful message back that has brought me to tears, because sometimes we don't say these things enough to the people we love,' she sobbed.
'We assume they know it, but to actually verbalise it, say it, and for them to receive that. It's hard to do but it means so much.'
Back in 2021, Candice revealed the secrets to her fit physique to Daily Mail Australia.
The busy mother of three said although she eats clean and trains mean, she doesn't mind having the odd sweet treat or glass of wine on occasion.
'I try to eat as cleanly and as healthy as I can, but I do have a sweet tooth. If the girls [her daughters] have a couple of little biscuits, I'll share with them,' she said.
Candice said at the time that when it comes to exercising, she enjoys hitting the gym or going for a walk with a weighted vest on, and loves the mental benefits of exercise.
She married cricket great David Warner in 2015 and they share three daughters, Ivy Mae, eight, Indi Rae, seven, and three-year-old Isla Rose.
